I am a college educated, worldly traveled, Army Brat, wife, and mother to 5 children. My husband, Brian and I are a blended family of his, hers, and ours. We have 4 sons and one daughter. Our family enjoys tent camping, gardening and the great outdoors. We love the Georgia Bulldogs and the Atlanta Falcons. You will find that I am gregarious, humorous, compassionate, and creative. I love scrapbooking and I became obsessed with the paper art of preserving memories in the Spring of 2005. I have been published many times and scrapbook on a daily basis. I enjoy "scrapbooking out of the box" and take great pleasure in sharing my creations as well as being inspired by other multi-media artists. I am excited to be a member here at Art Freckles and I hope that I too can inspire you to "scrap out of the box" and stretch your creativity while sharing a story of a moment in time. Linda Gunther - Senior Design Team Member Hi, my name is Linda and I have been scrapbooking for 11 years or so, seriously addicted for the last 4 or 5! I try to make time to scrapbook every day, though I sometimes spend more time online shopping than scrapping :) I have a wonderfully supportive husband, 2 great kids and a house full of pets. I am soooo excited to be a part of Art Freckles design team and showcase their incredible monthly kits!! Jamie Harder - Design Team Member Hi! My name is Jamie Harder and am so thrilled to be a member of the Art Freckles team!!! I am crazy about scrapbooking (aren't we all?) and I definitely make time for something creative everyday! I am so blessed to be a SAHM to my two amazing daughters and the proud wife of an extremely supportive husband! I have been scrapbooking for six years but the obsession didn't kick in until about 2 years ago!! When I am not scrapbooking, you will find me outside - running, gardening, birding, taking a million pictures, walking my dogs, playing at the park and exploring nature. Jill Sarginson - Design Team Member Hello! My name is Jill Sarginson and I live in Kanata, Ontario with my husband Dean of 13 years and our 4 year old daughter, Abigail. I have been scrapbooking seriously for about two years now and I have to say I have become quite addicted to the hobby! Very seldom does a day go by when I am not doing something scrapbook related! First and foremost, I love to create but I am also addicted to the scrapbooking community – from forums to blogs and online galleries. My style varies a bit and I’m never quite sure how to describe it but I do love to distress and stitch. Most of my layouts will have at least one of these elements. My favourite tool is my edge distresser. My inspiration comes from many places: browsing blogs, online galleries, magazines but the thing that motivates me most are my photographs. I can often be found with a camera in front of my face snapping hundreds of shots and dreaming of the pages I may create. I am very excited to become part of the Art Freckles design team and I am happy to be part of this community. Renee McClowskey - Moderator Hi all! I'm Renée, and I'm honoured to be asked to be part of the Art Freckles Team. I'm a Scrapbooking Nut, its true. I love to Alter things, and Create Layouts on everyday moments. My Everyday moments tend to be focused on my DH, my "puppy" Max, and my two ribbon stealing, flower eating, die cut theiving kitties, CC & Sissy. Two things I've learned since I started to Scrapbook is: 1. I love the fact there are no rules! and 2. Inspiration can be found anywhere! Shannon Wyman - Owner Hi! I'm Shannon, owner and creator of 'Art Freckles', and dedicated art enthusiast! Currently I am a stay at home mom to two beautiful children, Emilee and Connor, but for the last 7+ years I have been involved in scrapbooking in some form or another! Original I started out like most of you, learning to scrapbook with stickers and limited supplies. Since then I've gone on to teach classes for local scrap stores and school boards, and have even worked as a designer and a buyer for a wholesale firm. Unfortunatly the later involved ALOT of time away, which just didn't work for me having very young children at home! Art Freckles originally came to me as an idea for a stamp company, but that was something I really wasn't sure I wanted to take on. Then one day, a friend of mine suggested I open an Etsy Store to sell some of my art in, (sewing, scrappy stuff etc.) So alas, Art Freckles came to life! I then decided to take things one step further, and dive into the world of kit clubs! I really love the whole idea of a monthly kit. I mean, scrapbooking goodness delivered right to your door? And then as an added bonus, it's all co-ordinated and ready for you to dive right in to! What's not to love about that??? The problem, I felt, was that despite all the wonderful and amazing kit clubs out there, a lot of them are just out of the average gals (or guys) price range. So what I wanted to do was create 'affordable' monthly kits. Kits that offer the same incredible value, and product goodness, but that are a little easier on the bank account! There are no subscriptions to sign up to at Art Freckles, all kits are first come first serve! Every kit will be full of scrappy goodness, and the Design Team will be here with layout and projects to inspire you.
